Lending a Helping Hand
At Indigo North Health we are dependant upon the generosity of the large number of people who volunteer their time to assist us. We couldn't do what we do without their help. Volunteers contribute in the following ways.
Driving
Volunteer drivers form our Community Transport team. Using our vehicles they drive local people to medical appointments, dental appointments and to hospital.
Leisure & Lifestyle
Volunteers in our Leisure & Lifestyle programs participate with residents and elderly clients in coordinating craft activities, cooking, reading, our Men's Shed and games and physical activities.
Auxiliaries
Our auxiliaries, Friends of Glenview and the Chiltern Auxiliary, are loyal groups of local people who donate their time and energy to raise much needed funds for our service. This may be through the organisation of our Rutherglen Fete or through staffing the Opportunity Shop at Chiltern.
Training Days
To Be Advised
It doesn't require a lot of time to become involved and we are always on the look out for individuals who can bring their skills and interests to our organisation. People who do volunteer find it a richly rewarding experience.
